Sofastar Payment Options

We currently accept the following payment methods online and on delivery.

Debit & Credit Card (Stripe)

Cash on Delivery

Sofastar offers Cash on Delivery for customers who prefer to pay when their order arrives.

To choose this option, simply select “Pay by Cash on Delivery” during checkout.

How Cash on Delivery Works

  1. Place your order and select Cash on Delivery at checkout.

  2. Our team will call you to confirm your order and payment choice before production begins.

  3. We will contact you again 1–2 days before delivery to confirm the delivery time.

  4. Our drivers will collect full cash payment before unloading your order.

If you are unable to pay in cash on the day of delivery, we can accept bank transfer as an alternative payment option.

However, customers are encouraged to have the full cash amount ready upon delivery.

Sofastar Ltd reserves the right to request an initial deposit for certain bed configurations.

Once payment has been received and validated by our drivers, the transaction is complete and ownership of the delivered items transfers to the customer.

0% Finance Options with Klarna & Clearpay

We understand that larger purchases can benefit from flexible payment plans. That’s why Sofastar offers 0% finance options through Klarna and Clearpay, allowing you to spread the cost of your order.

These buy now, pay later options help make upgrading your bedroom more affordable.

Klarna Finance Options

Klarna offers two simple ways to spread the cost of your purchase.

Pay in 30 Days

With Klarna’s Pay in 30 Days option, you can order today and pay later within 30 days.

  • No interest if payment is made within the 30-day period

  • Option to request an extension through the Klarna website or mobile app

Pay in 3 Monthly Instalments

You can also split your Sofastar purchase into three monthly instalments.

Payments are automatically collected each month, helping you spread the cost without interest. Be sure to make payments on time to avoid additional charges.

Klarna’s Pay in 3 / Pay in 30 days are unregulated credit agreements. Borrowing more than you can afford or paying late may negatively impact your financial status and ability to obtain credit. 18+, UK residents only. Subject to status. Ts&Cs and late fees apply.

Setting Up a Klarna Account

Creating a Klarna account is quick and easy. You can sign up via the Klarna website or download their mobile app.

To qualify for Klarna you must:

  • Be 18 years or older

  • Have a UK address

  • Have a UK bank account

  • Be in full-time employment

  • Be a UK resident

Clearpay Finance Options

Clearpay offers another interest-free payment plan for Sofastar customers.

With Clearpay, your order total is split into four payments, taken every two weeks. The first payment is taken when you place your order.

This option allows you to spread the cost of your Sofastar purchase without paying interest.

Setting Up a Clearpay Account

If you already have a Clearpay account, simply log in during checkout to select the payment option.

If you’re new to Clearpay, you can register through their official website or mobile app.

When signing up, you will need:

  • Your contact details

  • Your bank or credit card information

  • Confirmation that you can make payments on time

  • Confirmation that you are 18 years or older

Clearpay Late Fees

If a payment is missed without notifying Clearpay:

  • An initial £6 late fee will be charged

  • A further £6 fee after 7 days if payment remains unpaid

Late fees are capped at:

  • £6 for orders under £24

  • The lower of £36 or 25% of the order value for orders over £24

Late payments may affect your eligibility to use Clearpay in the future, and unpaid debt may be passed to a third-party debt collection agency.
